# Microsoft Teams Bot Integration

> Install the hosted Valyu Microsoft Teams bot to run scheduled DeepResearch reports in Teams channels

## Overview

The Valyu Microsoft Teams AI agent lets your team schedule DeepResearch reports directly inside Teams. Write a prompt, choose a daily or weekly cadence, and receive analyst-grade briefs in the right Teams channel before anyone has to ask.

## Quick install

    Go to <a href="https://teams.valyu.ai/">teams.valyu.ai</a> and click <strong>Add to Microsoft Teams</strong>.

  <Step title="Approve the app">
    Complete the Microsoft Teams approval flow for the team or channel where you want Valyu to post reports.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Connect your Valyu API key">
    Paste a Valyu API key from <a href="https://platform.valyu.ai">platform.valyu.ai</a> when prompted.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Create your first report">
    Choose the report prompt, target channel, cadence, scheduled time, and timezone.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm delivery">
    Check the selected Teams channel for the scheduled report card, then open the full report or download the PDF as needed.
  </Step>

## Report configuration

| Field           | Description                                        |
| --------------- | -------------------------------------------------- |
| Channel         | Teams channel where the report should be delivered |
| Research prompt | The DeepResearch query or instructions             |
| Cadence         | Daily or weekly schedule                           |
| Report time     | Scheduled delivery time, such as `17:00`           |
| Timezone        | Timezone for report delivery                       |

## Using reports in Teams

Reports are posted as Teams messages with a concise brief and actions for follow-up reading. Use them for workflows like security briefings, market monitoring, competitive intelligence, policy updates, or product research.

Each report can include:

* Executive summary
* Structured sections based on the prompt
* Source category labels such as Reports, News, or Web
* Link to open the full report
* PDF download
