  • New SEC filing types: Expanded SEC filing coverage with nine new filing types:
    • S-1: Registration statements filed ahead of an IPO or new securities offering - the definitive source for a company’s business model, financials, risk factors, and intended use of proceeds before it goes public.
    • S-4: Registration statements for mergers, acquisitions, and exchange offers - includes deal terms, exchange ratios, fairness opinions, and pro forma financials for the combined company.
    • Form 10 (10-12B / 10-12G): Registration statements for spin-offs and companies listing under Section 12 without a public offering - often the first detailed look at a newly independent business.
    • DEF 14A (+ DEFA14A / DEFM14A / DEFR14A family): Definitive proxy statements sent to shareholders before annual or special meetings - covering executive compensation, say-on-pay votes, board nominees, governance matters, and shareholder proposals.
    • SC TO-T: Third-party tender offer statements filed when an outside bidder offers to buy shares directly from shareholders - detailing the offer price, conditions, financing, and expiration terms.
    • SC 14D9: The target board’s official response to a tender offer, including its recommendation to shareholders, fairness opinions, golden-parachute compensation tables, and the background of the deal.
    • 6-K: Current reports from foreign private issuers - interim disclosures of earnings, dividends, and material events that companies report in their home markets.
    • 20-F: Annual reports from foreign private issuers - the FPI equivalent of a 10-K, with audited financials, risk factors, and operating reviews for non-US companies listed on US exchanges.
    • N-PORT (NPORT-P): Monthly portfolio holdings reports from mutual funds and ETFs - revealing fund-level positions, asset allocations, and risk metrics.
  • New dataset - ChemRxiv: Added valyu/valyu-chemrxiv, a comprehensive dataset of chemistry preprints from ChemRxiv covering organic chemistry, materials science, chemical biology, and more. Giving researchers access to the latest findings in the chemical sciences.
  • Workflows (Beta): You can create and manage workflows: Save a prompt, sources, deliverables, and mode once as a template with typed {variables}, then anyone in your organization can run it by filling in those variables. It’s the highest-leverage way to use DeepResearch for repeatable knowledge work like earnings previews, diligence reads, market sizings, competitor scans where the structure stays fixed and only the inputs change. Templated, reusable DeepResearch. Browse 44 Valyu-curated templates spanning investment banking, private equity, consulting, life sciences, and more. Fill in the variables, and run them on demand or on a schedule. Get started with the Workflows quickstart.
